The Anning oil depot project is expected to promote the development of Yunnan's refined oil market and meet the rapidly growing energy demand. Yunnan's refined oil market has grown from 10.0176 million tons in 2017 to 15.3668 million tons in 2022, showing continued market expansion.
The oil depot will also support multiple gas stations in and outside Yunnan Province, boosting regional economic development and employment

Although the construction of the oil depot faces challenges such as land acquisition, environmental protection and safety standards, its strategic location and government support lay the foundation for the success of the project.
